ACH payments have lower fees than credit cards. Allowing ACH payments will give us the option of taking online payments without the high fees of CC.

Has anyone who connected ACH with Stripe had an issue with incomplete transactions? I had a client submit an ACH payment and it shows past-due in Tave and incomplete in Stripe.

When enabling ACH payments in Stripe, a message comes up recommending setting up webhooks that would show the payment status in Tave. Since ACH payments aren't immediate like with credit cards, it would be useful to have status updates (processing, succeeded, failed...) attached to the record in Tave. Does the ACH system currently have this functionality?

Yes, we've implemented the webhooks and the status will move from pending to posted accordingly.

I just tested it on my end, it shows pending under the client, but you have to select the job to view it! I hope that helps answer your question

Is there a way to JUST show ACH? I don't want to switch my payment provider to Stripe/Square, but the ACH doesn't seem to support Authorize.net.

Yes, the Square integration (but not Stripe) supports showing only ACH with it. So you could keep your legacy Authorize.net gateway enabled for credit cards and set up the Square integration to be ACH-only, and just name the payment buttons accordingly.

On the edge of my seat over here! Current estimate shows May. Very much looking forward to bringing my ACH payments into Tave! Currently using Maroo for ACH but they switched to a subscription based pricing model this month and I'm over it. Very ready for this feature in Tave. Please let's push this past the finish line!

When adding ACH payment options to Stripe, will I still be able to pass on the CC fee via a surcharge? In the state of CO, I can pass on (and would like to pass on) fees to clients for credit cards only, not ACH.

Yes, the surcharge only applies to credit cards, any other payment method you enable in your Stripe config will not apply the surcharge.

Not much longer! We have the Stripe implementation completed and are working on the Square implementation. We're releasing it for both at the same time since usage is fairly evenly split between them.

Stripe and Square are the same thing that's available now. High processing fees. We need to be able to connect our banks merchant payment system. The fees are 80% less!

Stripe and Square both offer ACH with significantly reduced fees. We are expanding our integration with both services to allow most payment methods they offer, beyond just cards (which is all we support today).

There are ways to do ACH transfers without fees (via Plaid or Melio) so I'd love to see that rather than having another payment method with a slightly lower fee.
For me, I'd rather get the money a couple days later than have to pay thousands in fees every year. Hey...we could even pay our Tave subscription fee via ACH!

I'd love to be able to have bank transfers/ACH payments accepted conveniently through my Tave invoices as opposed to having to manually do things through Square. Without a doubt, the most important feature upgrade. This could put collective millions back in our pockets. Add Stripe w/ the ability to read their webhook callback URL and update the payment status in Tave would also mean saving hours on accounting every month.

ACH payments are far less expensive than Credit or Debit card fees. Generally less than $5/payment, even for high-value payments. This is a huge savings for wedding photographers or anyone doing a lower volume of higher value payments per year.
A UI into which a customer can type their routing and account number, and the payment is then deposited to my bank account would be fantastic.

setting up auto pay with this feature would be great. Our clients hate making payments and prefer auto draft. That also would eliminate most if not all of a business's late payments and unpaid balances.
